Release notes cover

Our knowledge, expertise is at the tips of your fingers

Taking the next step in our journey

Our vision is openings made easy - and that means starting at the beginning on through to the end of the process. In this set of release notes, you will see a larger focus on support - either through the features developed or supporting material found on the Knowledge Base. But, before we begin, we've recently had some transitions on our team.

Paul Candy has accepted a new role as the Vice President of Commercial Excellence within ASSA ABLOY Opening Solutions PNEA. He leaves behind an impressive legacy! Please join us in congratulating him.

I have stepped into the role as the Global Director of BIM Technologies, and carry the torch forward to support our divisions in commercialization, marketing and business development activities.

We continue to grow. We would like to welcome new members from around the world, as well as our very own software engineers Craig Esparza and Samuel Lam.

If you have questions about this release, please don’t hesitate to reach out to your local BIM Manager or Openings Studio Consultant. We hope you enjoy the latest release of Openings Studio. All the best!

Erin Desman
Global Director of BIM Technologies

When you add a pin to the PDF, the PDF becomes interactive, allowing you to quickly go through the Door & Frame Schedule to find tagged openings. Or, you can go through the PDF and select a pinned opening and find it in the Door & Frame Schedule.

In the last release, we added several annotation tools to the PDF viewer, such as highlighting text, moving annotations or adding cloud shapes to PDFs.
