Open a project in read-only mode


Overview

Need to review a project without making changes? You can open a project in read-only mode. This is useful when you only need to view project information or when another user may need to work in the project.

Read-only launches are tracked in Openings Studio™ and are available to all users.

Open a project in read-only mode

  1. Open Project Search.
  2. Find the project you want to review.
  3. Select the Read Only checkbox at the bottom of the window.

  1. The project opens in read-only mode. You can view project information, but you cannot make changes.

    This helps prevent accidental edits and allows other users to continue working without interruption.

     

    Note

    Openings Studio records when a project is launched in read-only mode.
