New features:
Building View enhancements
Boost drawing speeds with new selections. Ongoing improvements have been made to increase the speed of the building view, and this release is no exception. Zooming, orbiting and navigating larger projects are now easier than before.
Plan View enhancements and improvements
Changes have been made to plan views to allow us to filter out levels that are not relevant to the plan view, such as the top of the basement level. These improvements are dependent upon how the project, or the depth of the views have been set up in Autodesk® Revit®.
New PDF Viewer added
Open and search for openings easily within uploaded PDF Plan Views with the updated PDF Viewer.
Autodesk® Revit® 2021 added to Plugins options
The Autodesk® Revit® 2021 plugin is now available.
Swap and Replace updates and additions
Need one last review before swapping out hardware? A warning will now appear when swapping and replacing hardware before replacing hardware, indicating the original hardware and the replacement hardware items.
Search and filter in Revit® Params Tab
Quickly search for parameters under the Revit Params tab, by clicking in the search and filter field (A). The field automatically searches as you input information.
Spec Services Prices field added to Project Details.
Under Reporting in Project Details, a Spec Services Price can now be added to a Project. This will enable the ability to capture or add the value for each specification produced from this release forward. The ability to edit this field is set by a permission in User Access Control “User can Edit Spec Services Price in Project.”
Note: This field only accepts numerics, has no decimals or unit amount, and does not have an associated currency.
Report notifications improvements
Report names will be visible in notifications, so users will be able to now see which reports are available. Additionally, an icon indicator will appear when notifications are in progress, failed or completed.
Review Hardware Sets from View Set Info in Products tab
Now see which hardware sets your items can be found in.
Rename Punch Out Column to Status
Punch Out (A) column has been renamed to Status (B). To view the column, go to Column Visibility and select Status. You can then select the status of the opening in the drop-down options. Note: This is for Owner or Mobile App projects only.
Architect landing page
Architect landing page and tutorials are now available to all Knowledge Base users. All architect processes and workflows are now accessible without logging through Openings Studio™. Walk architects and BIM Managers through the analyze or export process with just a couple of clicks.
Owner landing page
Owners can now access information in the Knowledge Base on the Manger Dashboard and Manager View.
